Puppet Killer

It’s Halloween night, and a group of friends finds themselves trapped in an old house far from town. But something isn’t right. One of them is no longer themselves. Puppet Killer is a hidden role horror party game for 5 to 10 players, inspired by cult B-movies and slasher films. Each player takes on the role of a character trapped inside a cursed house on Halloween night. Most are Survivors, trying to reveal safe rooms and escape. A few, however, are secretly Possessed—controlled by a malevolent Puppet hiding among them. One of them is the Puppet itself, pulling the strings behind the scenes. Each round, the current Leader chooses an Explorer, and the group votes using secret Courage or Suspicion cards. If approved, the pair draws and selects from hidden Room cards. Some are Safe, others are Perilous or even Lethal. Perilous and Lethal rooms require overcoming challenges by secretly contributing cards from each player’s Ability hand—cards themed around Wit, Stealth, and Willpower. But beware: if the group fails a challenge, terror increases. If it reaches the breaking point, the Puppet wins. Lethal rooms can cause the death of Survivors or the exposure of Possessed players. Players must deduce whom to trust, manage their limited resources, and survive the Puppet’s influence before it’s too late.
