About

A card game of clever plays and tough calls. Win the best cards, then choose: save them for later or go all in. Every move counts. Every card matters. Why Pongo? Pongo is the genus of the orangutan. The game is about orangutans in the wild. The 4 suits are: orangutan, branches (representing nest-building), figs, and durians (their two favorite foods). Each round, players gain cards through the I-split-you-choose mechanic, then spend them in a bid. Saving cards can pay off, as later rounds are worth more points. Turn order matters: playing last gives perfect information and unlocks powerful wild card plays. Every card counts, especially when majorities are scored at the end. And with a twist on wild cards, choosing when to play or hold can change everything. —description from the publisher
