📖 About This Game
I'm completely self-developing (with some friends help) Ortomnia - Broken Trinity a narrative driven ECG - i chose this over a TCG because its a more user friendly and fair distribution Model.
In the first Core Set you get 126 unique Cards - in total 305 (because you can use multiples in a Deck), so you have all the Cards in the amount in which you could have them in a Deck! The Game is designed for experts who enjoy deckbuilding and want to delve into it - looking for synergies and building upon cards, there are 5 smaller Expansions planned in total, adding different Nations of the Universe to the Coreset, which focuses on the Main Storyprotagonists and the Antagonists.
The Setting is my own unique Fantasy Universe, in which iam also developing a Videogame.
It's inspired by most TCG's in Terms of you get a Set of Cards, build Decks and play competetively against each other to be the first one to gather enough Victory Points (Essence).
Next to your normal Deck you also have a Quest Deck, which gives you Quests to fulfill while you battle each other which can give you a Boost or Victory Points - and penals you if you fail to do them.
There is also a Corruption Mechanic, the Corruption Level rises during the Game and as soon as it hit's final Stage, the Game is over and both player lost the Game. But there are Ways to manipulate this (reduce or increase the corruption), aswell as Cards profiting from higher or lower Corruption, getting stronger.
Next to those Main unique Mechanics the Decks are also built differently, your Character Cards are your Ressource Cards aswell, so you have to balance weak Characters with high Energygeneration with ways to protect them.
World-Cards are also a big Factor in the Game, being similiar to Field-Cards, they are your "Base" which generates you Victory Points next to Quests or attacking the Player directly, also they do have powerful Skills which can influence your Playstyle drastically, so you can build your Strategy and your own Nation based upon them!
