📖 About This Game

Operational Level Urbanised Campaigning (OPUC) is a modern operational level game which aims to investigate the interplay between rural and urban combat. Operations are over a large area (100km+), with the player in the role of a Division or Corps commander, juggling issues of civilians, logistic and national and international opinion, alongside trying manage the fight on the ground. In order to stop urban fights just becoming a +1 on combat, major urban areas are represented as side maps, so you may well have several urban fights taking place at the same time as an evolving rural fight. OPUC typically uses a 15km hex grid and Battalion manoeuvre units. There are no capability cards, but each player has a menu of actions that their Command Points can be spent on. Players have to manage a logistic budget, and urban operations typically use up far more of that than the rural fighting. But moving away from MSRs or beyond your supply points also increases logistics demands - so what’s the right approach? —description from the designer
