Octo&Roll

Octo & Roll is a roll-and-write game for 2–7 players. Each round, reveal 1 A Mission card and 1 B Mission card. The Lead Player rolls 8 dice and groups them by number. Any 1s are changed to match the lowest number rolled (excluding 1) and grouped there. All players simultaneously choose a number group they haven’t used that round, then record its value (number × quantity) in the matching space on their sheet. Players may use a Minus Check to subtract 3 from the recorded value, but each can only be used once. When the set number of spaces is filled, the round ends. Add your recorded values for the Dice Score. The highest Dice Score earns a penalty. Score missions separately: A Mission rewards the highest single entry in a space, while B Mission grants points for meeting its condition (specific numbers, odds, or matching numbers). After 4 rounds, total Dice Scores and Mission Scores, subtract 3 points for each unused Minus Check, and the highest score wins.
