📖 About This Game

In this game, children aged 7 and over, with the mediation of an adult, will learn about problem situations that will playfully teach them to recognize and defend themselves against sexual abuse. Mechanically, the children will cooperatively move the bunny Ritoca in her attempt to save her little friends from Uncle Popcorn, a wolf in sheep's clothing who is trying to take everyone to his house. Each round, the current player rolls a die, the result of which determines whether Ritoca or Uncle Popcorn moves. Depending on where the character ends up moving, various situations can arise: a little friend could move away from or towards Uncle Popcorn's house or a problem situation must be discussed by the child. Problem situations are cards that describe situations to the child, with a question at the end: "what should be done?". The child must then answer this and the expected correct answer is on the back, as well as a text so that this situation and its answer can, with the help of the mediator, be discussed with the players, explaining why. Depending on the child's response to the problem situation, there may be a beneficial or harmful effect on the game (such as a little friend moving closer or further away from Tip Popcorn's house). The game ends with the players losing if Uncle Popcorn reaches Ritoca the rabbit, or winning if all the little friends are safe in Ritoca's house. The game is based on a children's book of the same name published in Brazil.
