📖 About This Game

MTR Railway Journey is a card game which is published by Hong Kong Mass Transit Railway (MTR) company. All cards are Hong Kong MTR stations. The cards are divided as 8 groups of different railway lines (3 short lines combined as one). Players get 7 cards in their hands and race to empty their hands. In turns, players attempt to play cards by matching its color, number, or word to the topmost card on the discard pile. If unable to play, players draw a card from the draw pile, and if still unable to play, they pass their turn. After player play a card, if he gets any card with the same number/action, he can play all of them within the same turn. e.g. the last played card is a RED card, A can play a RED 2, BLUE 2, ORANGE 2 all together. Card Types: Number, all carry the names of a MTR stations. The number ranges from 1-13(the longest line) to 1-4 (the shortest one). Interchange Station, it belongs to 2 railway lines (colors) and change the game play direction. Stop, to skip the next plyer. The effect can be accumulated to stop several players. Notice (+3), make the next player draw 3 cards. Player can play other Notice or Railway Journey card to avoid the effect and accumulate the effect on the next player. Wild Changing Color, player select a new color for the next player. Railway Journey (+4), make the next player draw 4 cards. Player can play other Railway Journey card to avoid the effect and accumulate the effect on the next player.
