📖 About This Game
Lambi-tanko is a two player game, in the 16*16 grid board with alternating black and white squares. In the middle of the board there is 2*2 square with plastic base, which has two poles in it. You try to get your pieces to these poles to score more points at the end. Your 16 Tanko pieces start form the closet row to you. On the corners of the board there are 2*2 goal squares for Tanko pieces to turn to Lambi pieces.
On your turn you can move one of your Tanko pieces forward, backward, diagonally or to the sides 1 or 2 spaces. Lambi pieces move the same way, but they can move any number of squares. No piece can never go over players own pieces. Eating happens on Checkers like move, by jumping over opposing players pieces. If you can you must eat as many opposing players pieces as is possible. After you finish your movements, it's other players turn. Pieces eaten are removed from the game.
As said your final goal is to get your pieces in to the poles in the middle. There are two L-shaped areas, to get to the middle of the board (to the poles). You can't enter these zones from the sides. To get there you must move your piece in the square with red dot and then move forward to poles.
Game ends immediately, when one player can't make any moves. Every Lambi piece in the pole is worth 8 points and every Tanko piece in the pole is worth 3 points. Lambi pieces still left in the board are worth 2 points and Tanko pieces are worth one point.
