KoolWheelz: The Classic Drag Racing Game

KoolWheelz is a two to four player game where players will compete in “Weekend Racing Events” and “Pinks” races, Pinks is taking ownership of the opponents car after winning a race. There are 126 playing cards, or race cards, in the game, 18 different types. You will be collecting cards, drawing a card on your turn, preparing for a race day event. For an event to happen it needs sponsorship and will require and event card, money- funding card, and then a team card. In order to go racing, enter an event, you will need a couple specific cards in your hand like tires and fuel, and there are other cards that can help you win a race, bonus and steal cards. Races are resolved by rolling a die and consulting a sector table for result, the drag strip is divided into ten sectors with each sector having its own table. The first car to cross the finish line is the winner, but there is a speed trap prior to the finish and if both cars are within this area then the trailing car has a shot to cross first. The rules don’t state it but that sounds like a shot-shot rule to me, pretty cool. The game ends after a predetermined number of Mr of race events, recommended four-six, and the player winning the most events is the season champion. —user summary
