📖 About This Game

The late 1980s into the early 1990s are called the Junk Wax Era, where the hype of baseball card collecting was only outpaced by the volume of cards flooding into the market. Relive the glory days of card collecting with this new card drafting and dice rolling game from designer Danny Devine. Junk Wax combines a a fun dice rolling method to drive the value of your baseball cards. Collect your favorite players and teams, from Rookies, to Commons, to All Stars. Then depending on how well their teams do, your cards can increase in value. The game will play across 5 rounds where all of the teams face off in head to head matchups each round. You'll place dice next to the teams playing allowing you to draft cards from the display, then store those cards in your personal collection binders. At the end of each round, the teams will play their head to head games, the winner being determined by the rolls from those dice placed next to them during the card drafting phase. Each winning team will increase the point values of all of the cards from baseball players on that team currently in your personal card collection. Plus you will earn even more points at the end of the game from their locations in your binders based on the communal objectives based on card company brand, connected runs of the same team, and player roster positions. Will you build the best baseball card collection? Let's crack some packs and find out! —description from the publisher
