📖 About This Game

The Jamboree Game is a roll and move game that sees players move around a winding track with 130 spots. The board shows a course where players are scouts that trek around the outdoors passing along the way wild animals, a ration dump and Indian camp. Players roll a dice and move the number of spaces indicated by the dice throw. Along the way certain numbered spaces require the player to follow directions written next to the spot. Some will help the player while other spots incur a penalty. First player to reach the last space (130) is declared the winner and ends the game. 2 versions of the game box may exist with a smaller rectangular box and a larger more square box. The game is referenced in other National Game Company rules (i.e Fairyland) as being part of a series of games produced by the National Games Company. This may imply this game was also manufactured by National games. No reference to National games is on the board or box but playing pieces are identical in style to many boxed National Games. National games did also produce many of their games in large and small boxed format.
