📖 About This Game

Step into a dreamlike Northern Native American-inspired world, where you embody one of four unique characters. Play cooperatively, competitively, or solo as you search for sacred offerings to present to the Bear Totem before time runs out. But beware, the Wendigo lurks when night falls. Will you dare to challenge it? Rely on your memory, deduction, and character abilities to achieve your goals and claim victory. How to Play: At the start of each turn, the player must choose one of the four available weapons before revealing a new tile. If the revealed hostile animal matches the chosen weapon, it is instantly defeated. The player may then either keep the same weapon or select a new one before continuing to explore by flipping another tile. If the hostile animal does not match the chosen weapon, combat begins. The player strikes first, reducing the animal’s karma points. Then the animal retaliates, and turns alternate until either the player or the animal is defeated. If the animal is defeated, the player continues exploring. If the player is defeated, their character returns to their starting tile, all revealed tiles are flipped back face down, and their turn ends. While exploring the island tile by tile, players may also discover offerings. These must be brought to the Bear Totem. A weapon must always be chosen before flipping a tile adjacent to any already revealed tile. The game is won if players successfully deliver all offerings to the Bear Totem before the day/night turn limit expires. For a Major Victory, players must not only achieve this but also defeat the Wendigo. To do so, they must collect magical artifacts and deliver them to the Shaman, who will then perform a ceremony to eliminate the Wendigo (again, within the same turn limit). —description from the designer
