GURUGURU Charm

ぐるぐるチャーム (GURUGURU Charm) is a trading card-style fighting game from Japan, with players fighting using traps, magic and weapons. The players are dealt 20 cards from the deck and select up to 7 cards to set aside that will add to their attack. Then they select 7 hand cards to use in battle, with a character card with skills. The remaining cards are shuffled into a draw deck. The card values are from 1 to 5, with higher values beating lower values, and 1 beating 5. A card is turned up from the draw deck to set a weather condition for that round. Players can then choose a card to place face-down as a trap. Then they choose a card to fight with, and hold it face-down until all players are ready to reveal, with a shout of SENO! The players can then activate their traps and also use magic in the combat. The strongest fighter wins the round and the losers mark up damage on their own score card. Players then draw back to 7 cards in hard and begin a new round. If the deck is exhausted it is shuffled over. When a player falls to zero hit points, they are out.
