📖 About This Game

Corner a stock by gaining possession of a preference share and four ordinary shares. The winner takes all of the counters in the pool. The game is played with up to six sets of shares to match the number of players. Each player is randomly dealt five shares and pays 20 counters into the pool. A separate deck of exchange cards is used to buy and sell shares. Players can only hold up to 5 shares in their hand. The player to the left of the dealer (or previous player) names a share to deal in. An exchange card is then turned over. The exchange cards give three outcomes - quoted, call, or dividend. With “quoted”, that player may sell any of the named shares to the pool at the quoted price. With “call”, every player must put a specified number of counters into the pool for each share of the named share. With “dividend”, every player takes a certain number of counters out per share held and preference shares take double that amount. —user summary
