Fluffy Ornaments is a delightfully festive two-player abstract strategy game set around a Christmas tree. Players take turns placing their cat pawns on empty green spaces among the tree’s ornaments. When three cats line up horizontally, vertically, or diagonally, they “fluff up” into adult cats, offering tactical leverage. Victory can be achieved in two ways: either by forming a full line of three adult cats or by getting all eight of your kittens up onto the tree first. But there’s a mischievous twist—players can also knock off opponent’s ornaments or jump into positions that disrupt their line, adding risk and interactive tension. The gameplay is easy to learn, yet deep enough to offer surprising tactical richness, especially as the tree fills up.
