📖 About This Game
The Rif War, also called the Second Moroccan War, was an armed conflict fought from 1911 to 1927 between the Spanish colonial authorities and the French colonial Empire and the Berber tribes of the mountainous Rif region of Northern Morocco.
El Rif: Una Guerra Olvidada ("The Rif, a forgotten war"), is a 2 player card driven wargame which depicts the war in the Rif region of Northern Morocco from 1911-1927.
The Rif includes a deck of strategy cards for conducting campaigns and incorporating the many events and personalities of the war. The Spanish player can build special units 5Legion, regulares, tanks), naval and air units, pacifiy the rebel kabyles, and work towards French intervention. The Rifian player can build up his kabyles, revolt enemy units of the indigenous police and proclame the the Republic of the Rif.
