Doubloons

Doubloons is a 2-6 player card game of pillage and plunder. Take the helm of a pirate ship in a race for 7 doubloons. Along the way, hire the help from history's most prolific pirates like Samuel Bellamy, Anne Bonny, Ching Shih, and more. It takes less than 5 minutes to learn. There are two types of cards in the game: action cards and pirate cards. Each player receives 5 action cards to start. On your turn, you draw an action card and then can play up to 3 action cards. Action cards allow you to do things like collect doubloons, draw cards, and steal from other players. You can choose to spend doubloons in order to recruit pirates onto your crew. These pirates give you effects that can be used once on every turn. Different combinations of action cards and pirates allow you to accelerate your path to victory and decelerate your opponents. —description from designer
