📖 About This Game
DEDUCO is a hidden-role social deduction game centered around the conflict between two factions: Civilians and Assassins. Each player takes on a secret identity, playing as a character with unique abilities, and must use deduction, bluffing, and strategy to achieve their faction's objective. The setting creates an atmosphere of suspicion and tension, where players must carefully read each other’s actions and intentions.
Gameplay:
The game alternates between two phases: Interrogation and Protection, and Action. During the Interrogation phase, players ask closed questions to try and uncover others' identities, with answers given secretly using Yes/No tokens. Then, all players vote to place one player under protection, shielding them from attacks in the upcoming Action phase. In the Action phase, each player secretly selects an ability from their character sheet and executes it. Some abilities deal damage, others heal or defend, and some can only be used once per game.
Goal:
The goal of the Assassins is to eliminate the Civilian by inflicting 6 wounds. The Civilians must eliminate the Assassin by doing the same. The game ends when a player reaches 6 wounds. If that player is the Assassin, the Civilians win. If it’s the Civilian, the Assassins win. If it’s another role, the faction with fewer total wounds is declared the winner. In case of a tie, victory goes to the faction opposite that of the eliminated player.
Conclusion:
DEDUCO offers fast-paced, intense gameplay driven by hidden roles, strategic decisions, and psychological insight. With variable roles and actions, each session unfolds differently, making deduction, timing, and bluffing key elements for success.
