📖 About This Game
The Comedy of the Supreme Poet ends among the heavens.
Each player is called upon to cooperate with the others to enable the Supreme Poet to ascend to the heavenly spheres of Paradise, to the Empyrean and the sublime divine vision.
Guided by Beatrice, Dante must exercise his Intellect to gain all the Virtues then, accompanied by St. Bernard, accomplish transhumanization thus arriving at salvation and attaining...the Love that moves the sun and all the other stars.
The game consists of 10 rounds, each representing a Heaven. Players draw and play Intellect cards to advance Virtue counters on the board. The goal is to make a single Cardinal Virtue excel each round to gain its effects. In later rounds, Theological Virtues must be acquired.
In the final round, Salvation is calculated based on exercised Virtues, determining the players’ ending—ranging from mere ascension to full divine enlightenment.
