Coffee Break Battles: Preset 1.1

A classic Battleship game, but… All your units are ready to go! There is almost no setup — just choose a page and start playing with no delay! Open the colorful notepad and plunge into vivid worlds of candy, aliens, robots, and more. Extraordinary settings blend with familiar Battleship gameplay — everybody will like it! How to play: Youngest player goes first. He calls coordinates of a single square on a grid to shoot at! ie. “ I target a square at Column 8, Row 4" would be a legal move. Opponent checks called square against his left-hand grid containing his units. If called square is occupied by his unit, he must answer "Hit" and mark the square with a Cross. He must also answer "Destroyed" if all squares of a targeted unit are now covered in Crosses. Active player marks a called square with a Cross if it's a Hit, but he does so in right-hand grid of his sheet. Then active player gets another turn and must call a new square. If called square is not part of any unit on his lefthand ocean grid, opponent must answer "Miss" and have the turn passed to him. Players mark missed squares with dots on their respective grids.
