📖 About This Game
Ð£Ð³Ð¾Ð»Ñ ("Coal") is an economic strategy board game about the coal mining industry. Each player takes on the role of a company and tries to lead it to wealth and prosperity (or at the very least, avoid bankruptcy—which is a decent result for your first game).
Ð£Ð³Ð¾Ð»Ñ is a Euro-style, victory-point-based game. There is no hidden information. The game's randomness comes from the random appearance of cards in the markets, as well as from a die roll when players neglect safety at their mines and open-pit sites. An unlucky roll means an emergency has occurred at your company.
Each game of Ð£Ð³Ð¾Ð»Ñ consists of 6 rounds, but can end early if one player fully develops and reclaims two land plots. Each round is divided into two phases: the Action Phase, where players take turns performing one basic action, and the Calculation Phase, where players pay for their previous actions, refresh the markets, flip used cards, and check to see if any emergencies have happened at their mines and open-pit sites.
