On your journey you’ll face all manner of challenges and characters: Bleak wilderness and shifting landscapes Environmental disasters that can reshape your plans Bandits, bears, scavengers (watch your back…) Corrupt churches that will happily forgive your sins - for a price Do bad things, lose battles, or push your luck too far and you’ll gain a bad reputation. And of course, the world isn’t just danger, it’s full of trade, treasure, and travel: Stores and markets - Buy weird and wonderful accessories to aid your quest. Just beware: some shopkeepers may try to slip you bad stock that can hamper your plans. Smiths and forges -Respectable iron- and shield-smiths will craft high-quality weapons and armor for your Champions. Black market jobs - Take on odd jobs and mini-quests to earn illicit currency. Risky, yes, but essential to keeping your Champions armed and dangerous. Boats and travel - Sail rivers and seas to cross Valkhiem quickly, outmaneuvering your rivals.
