Boarders and Black Flags

Boarders and Black Flags is a miniatures skirmish game of high seas action. Players must both make and repel boarding actions with their scurvy crews, featuring: Fast playing, low minis count skirmishes: Narrative games based around tabletop play rather than list building and force acquisition. Asymmetrical and balanced factions, scenarios and play: Play as both boarder and host each game to be certain of a fair deal. Highly dynamic battlefields: Combat on the surface of a shifting deck has a character all of its own. Send crew overboard or crush them with sliding debris. Bluffing and deception: Each turn, use your lying dice to replace rolls that didn't go your way, then fake out your opponent as they try to read you. Narrative progression system: When you play linked games you'll be adding symmetrical effects to both yourself and your opponent, adding narrative and mixing up play, but never building advantage.
