πŸ“– About This Game

Asteriated Illusion is a game setting on Asteriated World. You should play the role of God of Fate, using the character cards to collect Grail Shards and fuse Grails to get victory. You can interrupt the characters' destiny to weaken your competitor in the game, so don't forget to take advantage of this trick! The game consists of two major parts. One is the Reality, and each player has a Reality of their own. There are three zones(red, blue and green) in each Reality. Cards played by players usually enter the Reality. The other one is Illusion, in which all players share. Players act in turn. They should choose a card in their hand and play it. Depending on that card's name, there are four kinds of playing ways: 1. Entering. If there's no other card with the same name in all players' Reality, you put it into an empty zone of your Reality. This is considered that this card "enters". 2. Bolstering. If there's at least one card with the same name in your reality, you put it onto that card(s). This is considered that this card "bolsters". Both entering and bolstering you will gain a Gem referring to color of that zone. 3. Intervening. If there's at least one card with the same name in other players' reality, you put it onto that card(s). You can take a Gem referring to color of that zone from that player. This is considered that this card "intervenes". 4. Flashing. If these three conditions cannot be meet, you discard it and gain any kind of Gems equal to that card's rarity. This is considered that this card "flashes". After playing cards, for each zone in your Reality where no new cards are put in, you decide what to do from three actions: 1. Awakening. Pay some Gem with the same color of that zone to put all cards sideways in that zone. 2. Resting. Remove any number of awakened cards to get equivalent Gem with the same color of that zone. 3. Skip. After this phase, you draw cards to 5. Then the next player acts. In the beginning of your next turn, your characters(cards) in Illusion will give you Shards cards and your completely awakened cards in your zones will go to the Illusion, which also gives you Shards cards. There are four kinds of Shards card, and you will fuse a Grail if you collect 4 Shards cards of the same kind(and then discard them). In the 3-player standard mode, the player who gets 5 Grails wins! Additionally, there are usually up to 4 characters in Illusion. When the limit is reached, other three characters will leave the Illusion and be discarded. In the game players may gain Crystal as a resource. They can use 3 Crystals to gain an extra action or replace a Shards card of any color. So value the Crystals! Each character with different name will have unique skills and effects so that the game will be exciting! There are also game variants for more fun.
