English translation:
In the game Graduates you will play the role of a person running a consulting company. You will attract graduates with various competences and raise their qualifications. A properly selected team will allow you to implement more and more demanding contracts. You will earn money for development, train employees and take care of the prestige of your company. Headhunters who subscribe to employees will hinder you in managing the team composition. Sometimes employees decide to leave the ranks of the team themselves. Fortunately, you can still reach for graduates of the Faculty of Management.
The turn of the game consists of several steps:
- uncover bonus and event cards for the round
- lay out graduate and contract cards
- earn income
- bid for graduates
- assign and train graduates/employees
- fulfill contracts
- resolve bonus and event cards
The flow of the game is simple: after learning what bonus and event cards will bring at the end of round, players bid for graduates with specific sets of skills. After acquiring them players invest in graduates' development by paying for their training and marking the progress on their player boards. Once the players developed teams of employees matching the requirements of laid out contracts, they can fulfill contract cards and earn rewards (points, money or further employee development). At the end of every round some employees leave the teams and replacements will need to be found in consecutive rounds.
Main sources of points are:
- contract cards (about 55% of points)
- bonus cards (about 15%)
- end-game bonuses (about 20%)
- dividend (about 10%)
