13 Heroes is a card game with core mechanics based on Rock-Paper-Scissors, making it easy for anyone to pick up and play. The addition of card abilities deepens the strategy of trying to be the first person to play your entire hand and win the game. The goal of the game is to be the first play to play all the cards in their hand. Each card had a number between 1 and 13 and a symbol representing rock, paper, or scissors. At the start of a round, the current player can play any card. From that point, the next player will need to play a card from their hand that either: A)Has the Rock-Paper-Scissor symbol that would beat the current card in play OR B)Is the same number as the card in play. If no cards in their hand meet either condition, then they draw a card from the deck and pass to the next player While these core mechanics are all you need to know to play the Simple Mode of the game, which is recommended for learning the game, the Standard Mode of play incorporates the abilities on the cards which increase the depth of the gameplay.
