Each of the players represents one of the characters in the 1990's. At the beginning of the game all the property is owned by the three families at the top of the board. With careful planning, great cunning and, of course, some good luck, each player tries to ensure that all the money and possessions heirlooms are passed down the family tree to end up in his/her possession at the end of the game.
