📖 About This Game
Boxing: the Game is a simultaneous-play 1v1 game that simulates a boxing match. Punch, Block, & Feint your way to victory as you Master the Sweet Science.
Just like with real boxing, there are three ways to win: Score more points, exhaust your opponent, or land an epic KO!
Built with a passion for both board games & combat sports, B:tG puts fun first with a simple yet action-packed gameplay loop featuring deckbuilding, bluffing, character progression, plus an endless variety of tactics & strategies.
You don't need to buy any expansions or additional content for the full experience.
Boxing: the Game is designed with a balance-first approach. Our hope is that competitive & hobby gamers alike can enjoy an ever-evolving local metagame, similar to games like: Dice Throne, 7 Wonders: Duel, Star Realms, Radlands, or Mindbug.
However, unlike other classic 1v1 dueling games, B:tG is *simultaneous-play,* meaning you won't be taking turns or waiting around for your opponent. Just like in a real fight, you and your opponent are making decisions at the same time!
Whether you're hardcore boxing fan or not, you'll appreciate that every mechanic is dripping with flavor: stance-switching, clinching, balancing speed & stamina, styles making fights, & more.
B:tG is simple enough that a child can learn the game on their first playthrough, yet offers enough strategic depth that you can continue improving your fight game for many bouts to come.
